Frequently asked

Fair questions, answered plainly.

Including the ones with answers you may not want. If something here is not covered, write to us and we will answer it properly rather than route you to a call.

Part of the work is familiar, because writing good pages and fixing technical problems has always mattered. What is new is the target. We are not chasing a position on a results page, we are changing the sentence an engine produces about you, and as the diagram above shows, that is often won through sources that are not your website at all.

Never. Every article, correction, review response and placement draft waits in an approval queue for you. Your rejections and edits are kept, and the next draft follows them.

Usually they stay. Most of what a good search agency does still matters, because engines quote pages and pages have to be findable and readable first. We work alongside them on the rows, they keep the traffic work, and we will tell you plainly if they are already doing what we would do rather than invent a reason to replace them. Where it does not work is when nobody owns the decision, so one of us has to be answerable for the board and that should be written down before we start.

Yes, because in AI answers your reviews often are your description. An engine saying mixed reviews on delivery loses you the deal, and the only fix is the reviews themselves. Heavier reputation work, meaning press, legal takedowns and crisis handling, is quoted separately.

Not included, on purpose. We do not touch ad spend, we do not run conversion testing and we do not rebuild websites inside this engagement. If you want any of it we will quote it on its own, so you always know what you are paying for.

Not on a white label basis yet. We want our own clients and our own measured results first, and a reseller arrangement before that would be worse for everybody. We do pay a referral fee on introductions that turn into clients, so if you have one, write to us.

Covered, not sold separately. Voice assistants now run on the same models we already measure, so a spoken question is a generative answer read aloud. The only real difference is that voice usually names one business instead of three, which makes being described best matter more.

You do, from day one. Every page, correction and board stays yours whether you stay with us or not. If you leave we hand over the question set, the board history and the work log rather than holding them hostage.

Yes. Forty is the standard set because it usually covers a category properly, but a narrow business can be measured well on twenty. We will tell you honestly if we think the smaller scope is too thin to move anything.

Every engagement is quoted in writing within one working day, because the scope depends on your market, your locations and how competitive your category is. Plans are billed quarterly, never annually, and you can stop after month one with the rest of the quarter refunded. The AI visibility snapshot is free.

Three things are in writing. Stop at the end of your first full month and the rest of that quarter is refunded, with the board and everything written for you staying yours. Any month where movement sits inside the measurement noise is reported as flat, with the numbers, and two flat months in a row means we recommend you stop before you have to ask. And the work log is the invoice, so if the work agreed for a month did not ship, that month is credited.

Because a single clinic and a manufacturer selling into four countries are not the same job, and one published figure would be wrong for both. Six things change the cost and all six are published on the pricing page, so the number you get is explainable rather than invented on a call.

Monthly is too short to show anything honest, because movement takes a quarter to become reliable. Annual locks you in before you have evidence. Quarterly, with the rest of the quarter refunded if you stop after month one, is the only arrangement we could defend in both directions.

Yes. The AI visibility snapshot is free: up to five of your buyers’ questions, asked in six AI engines and followed three turns deep, and yours to keep whether you buy anything or not.

Every number carries a confidence range, and movement is only reported as movement when the ranges of two measurements do not overlap. Five samples per engine per turn, on a fixed schedule. When an engine ships a model update we mark it on the chart rather than smoothing it out, so a drop is explained rather than argued about. We would rather report a flat month honestly than claim a win we cannot defend.
No, and this is the part we would want you to check with every vendor you speak to. Your forty conversations are agreed with you in writing before the baseline is measured, and the set is versioned and dated. Changing it requires written agreement from you. A baseline that can be quietly moved is not a baseline, it is a sales tool.
Because we measure six properly rather than twelve badly. Grok and others are evaluated but not yet in the set, and we would rather name the six than imply full coverage we do not have.
The average number of turns, out of three, in which your brand is still named across the engine set. The full definition with its numerator, denominator and eligibility rule is on the methodology page.
Yes, on the same board rather than in a separate report. Rankings still matter because engines quote pages and pages have to be findable and readable first. What we do not do is bill you for a separate SEO retainer on top.

Three days in a vertical where we already run boards, because we know which conversations matter and which sources the engines quote. About twelve days in a sector we are building from scratch, and we will tell you which you are before you sign rather than after. The baseline is measured and locked before any work starts, so there is always something honest to measure against.

Search Console and analytics access, a publishing route to your site or a developer who can merge a pull request, one fifty minute conversation so we learn your products, your prices and how you talk, and one person who can approve things inside a week. That last one matters more than the rest. Where nobody can approve, nothing publishes, and the board does not move.

No. We work with the site and platform you have. If we have publishing access we push on a schedule with a rollback point kept. If we do not, we open a pull request or hand you an export pack, and we verify afterwards either way.

Search Console, analytics, and a publishing route to your site. Everything else is optional. We never hold a credential you cannot revoke, and the integrations screen in the product shows you exactly what is connected.

At the end of your first full month, with the rest of the quarter refunded and everything we built staying yours. After that it is quarterly with no notice period games. And if two months come back flat we will recommend you stop before you have to ask.

For how the measurement actually works, including the things it cannot prove, the methodology page has all of it.
